Here at BlackShark LLC, SAFETY is and will always be our top priority. We strive to provide our students with a safe, yet fun, environment. All of our classes continue to ensure responsible gun ownership and handling for all skill levels.

Some of our classes also goes over safe firearm storage which involves keeping firearms secured in a way that prevents unauthorized access. This includes using locking devices like gun safes or lock boxes, and ensuring that keys or combinations are kept inaccessible to children and others who are unauthorized. Safe storage significantly reduces the risk of unintentional injuries and firearm theft.

Treat every gun as if it were loaded:

Even if you think a gun is unloaded, it could still be loaded, and you should always handle it as if it might be. Always double and triple check.

Never point the muzzle of any firearm at anything you are not willing to defend against:

This means you should never point a gun at yourself, others, or anything you don't intend to shoot, even if it's unloaded!

Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on the target and you are ready to shoot:

Your finger should rest high and away from the trigger guard until your sights are on target and you're ready to shoot.

Be sure of your target and what is beyond it, between you and it, and around it:

Before you squeeze the trigger, you must be absolutely certain that you know what your target is, what is behind it, what is around the target, and what is between you and the target.
