Get To Know Us

BlackShark LLC is owned and run by Llewellyn Rivera Jr, and his wife, Ta-Miko. Better known as Lou & Miko.

Lou is a former fraud specialist who began to grow a passion for firearms knowledge and training. An unexpected career shift presented him with a unique opportunity to pursue his dream of working as a firearms instructor. He gained his firearms training certification shortly afterwards and began establishing his own business, BlackShark LLC.

Joined by his wife of 10 years, Miko, who is working toward her training certification in CPR and First Aid, they hope to build the business up to provide as many people as possible with beneficial safety and survival knowledge to better protect and defend themselves, as well as their families and fellow man.

Our mission

We, as a company, strive towards:

• Making the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for owning and using firearms safely and correctly common

• Helping others to understand our 2A rights as American citizens

• Teaching other safety and survival skills to give peace-of-mind in our everyday lives

The Future

BlackShark LLC is a growing business and plan to include other trainings and classes in the near future such as First-Aid & CPR, Home Defense, Situational Awareness, and so-on through certified instructors.

Our strength lies in our individuality and experiences. Though small, our team brings a lot of perspectives and abilities to the table to start, and we hope to only grow from here.
